This is a famous Yatai (street food) noodle dish in Japan. It consists of a pan-fried noodles with teriyaki sauce and your choice of beef, vegetable or chicken, or shirmp.
Chow mein is firmly planted in the Noodle Hall of Fame as one of the all time most loved noodles, along with other favourites like Pad Thai, Yaki soba and Vermicelli noodles.
Cantonese Chow mein is it is a bit more soft and crispy side and the noodles are usually not tossed in with the sauces. Crisping up the noodles then topping it with the sauce, BBQ pork, seafood and veggies.
